What to do about error #1203?

    Larry Lewinsohn · 0 · Posted

What should be done about it? How long should I wait before trying again? Generic error has been there for hours in some sizes of some images.

What happens if I submit (in a paid plan) an image larger then supported by my plan?

Hopefully I would just my original unchanged image. So I can fallback to that without implementing size checking for my images

    Please confirm

    Time out error

Hai · 3 · Last reply by Hai

    Hi,

I am having intermittent problems with rethumbing some of my images.  I get response 200 but a time out error:

The error is an image with the following message:

"Error Downloading Image (Response code: 200): operation timed out after 9975 milliseconds with 3655318 out of 10405873 bytes recieved (#1001).

    The URL is https://api.rethumb.com/v1/square/300/https://myhillsong-photos.s3.amazonaws.com/70989/full.jpg?1454652991510

I can't figure out whether this is rethumb or s3.  Although I can't imagine that it is s3 because our time out is not set at 10 secs.  Could you please help?  Thanks.

    Photos from aws

Hai · 2 · Last reply by Hai

    Hi,

I was wondering what i should put in my source if all my thumbs are on various buckets on amazon aws.  i.e. I will have more than 4 buckets for my thumbs.

    eg.  https://[bucket-name].s3.amazonaws.com/[photo-location]

So if I put in amazonaws.com this will be the whole of amazon (which I don't want) how do you suggest I get around this?  Thanks.

How do I kill all versions, sizes, transforms, etc of a file from cache?

Field Agent · 5 · Last reply by Pedro Verruma

How do I kill all versions, sizes, transforms, etc of a file? If a user rotates a photo, I update the file with the new rotated version. But when I ask rethumb for a thumbnail that was made prior to the rotation, I get the unrotated version. I see where I can send a version number in the URL to force rethumb to regen that specific request, but if I've got 10 different sized thumbnails, it becomes cumbersome for me to make sure they all get killed and regenerated. Can I kill them all at once so the next time

issue with using rethumb in conjunction with firebase images

Hai · 4 · Last reply by Hai

Hi I have been trying to get rethumb working with firebase images but I am getting a 400 error #1001.

    Here is my link:

    https://api.rethumb.com/v1/square/300/https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/hillsongchannelschedule.appspot.com/o/images%2Fprograms%2Fbest_of_hillsong_conference_640x360.jpg?alt=media&token=f98decf5-821f-4e64-99e3-0eecf294e640

If you take the url this will retrieve an image.  However putting the rethumb url in front of it doesn't work.  Could you please help?  Thanks!

    Nichame for original images domain?

Michalis · 1 · Last reply by Pedro Verruma

Is there any way to "not show" the url of the original image at the image url? (html version).. for example http://api.rethumb.com/v1/square/100/http://factor45.org/images/beach.jpg i dont want the factor45.org to be visible. Can i "add" this url to your interface and i just use a shortcut or a nickname and your server know that its that domain? eg http://api.rethumb.com/v1/square/100/bucket1/images/beach.jpg
